Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Brownie Parfait {$350 Williams Sonoma Gift Card Giveaway}

March 23rd, 2012

It seems everyone’s going gluten free these days.

In an effort to try something new in the way of desserts, I came up with a new gluten free recipe.

Chocolate brownies.

Powdered sugar.

Whipped cream.

Yum!

Have I mentioned that it’s gluten free?

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup gluten free chocolate chips
  • 8 gluten free chocolate brownies (I love Udi’s Gluten Free Dark Chocolate Brownie Bites.)

Preparation:

Beat cream, sugar and vanilla extract until peaks form.

Crumble chocolate brownies into small bite-size pieces.

Spoon a layer of whipped cream into 4 glasses, followed by a layer of brownie pieces. Repeat.

Top with a dollop of whipped cream, sprinkle with chocolate chips. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Eat. Enjoy. Thank me later.

Yields 4 servings.
