Meet my sometimes-annoying-but-always-loving husband, George. He’s a hard working, die-hard Saint Louis Cardinals fan who says and does stupid stuff on occasion. But, I love him anyway.

Together, George and I have 4 children, 3 of whom are from my previous marriage. Aren’t they beautiful?

My 17-year old son Andre is an inquisitive young man who loves football, baseball, track and video games. My little boy is far from little these days. He’ll be leaving the protection of our home to go off into the world on his own soon. And yes, I’m scared. Where did the time go?

Alyssa is a talkative, determined and extremely intelligent young lady. My 15-year old beauty loves reading, art and finding creative and inspiring things to pin to Pinterest. She’s committed to her dream of educating future generations as a teacher someday and I’m so very proud of her.

My spunky little 9-year old daughter, Amaya, is a riot. She’s funny and sweet and very particular. There’s no guessing as to where you stand when it comes to Maya as she consistently wears her heart on her sleeve. I’m so excited about what the future has in store for my independent not-so-little girl. She certainly is a force to be reckoned with.

She’s tiny. She’s sweet. And she certainly is a handful. She might be 3-years old, but Lana runs the show around here. How can we resist? She’s just so darn cute.
