Aloha, I’m Kristi – the fabulous woman who runs this here blog.

I may be half-Hawaiian and half-Portuguese, but I’m 100% stubborn. Just ask my husband.

I was born and raised in Hawaii and I’ve lived in 5 different states, but these days small town Missouri is the place I call home.

My husband and children give me gray hair. Lots of it.

Sleeping in is my idea of a good time.

Handbags, shoes and Coke are a few of my favorite things. Beans, centipedes and creepy-crawly critters? Not so much.

Since creating Live and Love Out Loud in January 2010, I’ve been a bit of a busy bee. I’ve guest posted here there and everywhere, hosted the exciting “OH NO HE DIDN’T!” Tuesday meme and also wrote a breastfeeding piece for Southwest Parenting Magazine. Currently, I’m a regular contributor at Our Mommyhood and serve as a community leader in the Our Mommyhood Blog Frog community.

I’m passionate about breastfeeding, ending child sexual abuse, encouraging, celebrating and empowering women. Oh, and I’m also obsessed with photography and social media.

When I’m not busy pumping out new posts about motherhood, marriage and the stuff in between, you can usually find me surrounded by the people I love. Living it up, loving out loud and laughing it off of course.
