Silver/Treasure {Nurture Photography Challenge}

Silver/Treasure {Nurture Photography Challenge}

We’re still unpacking here at our new home in Lake Chelan. I’ve been busy sorting, purging, digging through boxes and decorating my office with a few of my favorite things. It’s slowly coming together. And yes it’s still a work in progress, but adding some of my favorite keepsakes to the space has been so much fun.

I’m in love with my Amish basket full of yarn, though I don’t even know how to knit.

My collection of vintage cameras are fun little accent pieces that reflect my love of photography. Would you believe that many of the cameras in my collection still work?

These seashells and sea glass remind me of my island home. I can’t help but look at them and feel the warmth of the Hawaiian sun kissing my skin while waves gently lap at my feet. I miss Hawaii so.

Being surrounded by my favorite things brings me peace and comfort, but I treasure my family above all else – my husband (who hates being photographed) and my children, of course.

And yes, even Canon the Big Red Pup.

The yarn is beautiful and I love that fun owl. It’s so important to get those treasures and memories out when you move into a new space. I hope you feel more at home!

You have a beautiful family! I too have a vintage camera, uh, problem ;-) I wish I could get my Polaroid to work, it’s got something stuck somewhere that keeps the photos from coming out…something to work on :-) I love the image of the shells, feels like home :-)

Beautiful family and pictures! Any tips on how to take better pictures, especially when your child just wants to grab the camera instead of sit still for the camera…

I have just discovered your meme via Edenhills’ blog post! I run a MemeAholics blog and I have now added your badge there. It will appear each Friday! I was wondering if your meme was always based on the changing seasons! I ask because I live in Australia, and while you have winter now, our world is summer!
