Though leaves retreat leaving barren branches

and temperatures continue to dip,

beauty still remains.

I can’t help but feel inspired as snow continues to fall here in Lake Chelan. My first winter in Washington is proving to be jam-packed with photographic inspiration, opportunities and adventures.

I’m so excited to announce that photo challenge season is here! Join me and Rebecca of Bumbles & Light on yet another inspiring adventure as we photograph our way through winter with the Nurture Photography Challenge - a seasonal photo challenge series chock full of tips and tutorials, inspiring weekly prompts, personal feedback and encouragement.

The Nurture Photography Challenge starts on Friday, February 1st and everyone’s invited – no fancy camera required. We’ve got a few surprise freebies planned leading up to the launch so be sure to check back often.
