Missouri autumns have always been gorgeous.

Breathtaking.

Inspiring.

Colorful.

But this autumn, my very last autumn in small town Missouri, has been beautifully bittersweet. As I reflect on this, my last autumn in Plato, I can’t help but revel in the colors that make up such a glorious season.

I’m certainly going to miss autumns in small town Missouri.

Thank you for, once again, hosting such an amazing photo challenge! Even though I didn’t participate as much as I wanted to, I still loved having such an inspirational and beautiful place to escape to <3 Your photos show that you are able to find beauty no matter where you are…I'm sure Missouri will be missed, but I've no doubt you'll find beauty to rival it in Washington!

I have LOVED participating in this – fall is my favorite season, and I’ve enjoyed capturing it and watching and learning from everyone’s work. Thanks so much for hosting. I pray your move goes well (I’ve moved many times in my 30 years of marriage – kids at all different ages and stages…and, while there are some intense challenges, we look back and see the blessings from each place shine through!)
