The Parade of Gowns {Wordless/Wordful Wednesday}
Following months of testing and countless consultations with specialists and radiologists in and around southern Missouri, I’ve opted to have the mass in my left breast surgically removed. I underwent surgery yesterday, am currently resting at home and hopeful that this will mark the end of my breast lump journey. I won’t receive the pathology results for a while, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
Thank you so much for your prayers, well wishes, virtual hugs and support. I am so overwhelmed by the kindness you’ve all shown.
Everything you see here on my blog this week is pre-scheduled as I’m taking the week off for recovery. In my place, I have a few friends stopping by to guest post, including Rebecca of Bumbles & Light who’s sharing a few tips on getting young children involved in photography. I’d love for you to stop by and check it out.
Now without further ado, I’d like to welcome you to the parade.
The Parade of Gowns
Hospital gowns, that is.
And finally, what I hope will be the last hospital gown I’ll have to wear in a very, very long time…
Are these hospital gowns sexy, or what?

The Leap Into Spring! Photo Challenge is still going strong! Last week we shared our blossom/tree inspired photos. It’s not too late to share your photos. Don’t forget to check out the photography tips Rebecca shared on perspective as well. The linky will remain open until Thursday 9am CST. On Friday, April 27th, we’ll be moving on to a new prompt, “rain/water”. So grab your cameras, leap into spring and share your favorite photos inspired by our weekly prompt. Head on over to the Spring Photo Challenge page to learn more.
Thanks for stopping by and linking up here at Live and Love Out Loud. I’d love for you to visit a few of my friends…

I cannot believe that in the middle of surgery you managed to write and get your Wordless Wed post up! REST UP, dear Kristi – as beautiful as you are in those gowns, I want to see you back on your feet SOON!
