Bits and Pieces of Washington, DC – iPhone Edition {Wordless/Wordful Wednesday}
Before I get this Wordless Wednesday party started, I’d like to thank those of you who’ve offered prayers, virtual hugs and well wishes on Facebook, Twitter and here at Live and Love Out Loud. I’d love it if you could continue to keep me in your thoughts as I’m meeting with my doctor on Wednesday about the breast lump I recently discovered. I’m beyond nervous! I’ll be sure to keep you all posted as I learn more.

I spent four days in Washington, DC recently and wow, what an awesome city! I’ll be sharing my photos with you later on in the week. For now, these less-than-stellar iPhone shots will have to suffice. (I hope you don’t mind.) Here are a few bits and pieces of my time in DC…
I took in a beautiful sunrise during my early morning flight to DC.
And felt the holiday cheer immediately upon arrival at Reagan National Airport.
The steamed crab at Mike’s Crab House was out of this world delicious!
My visit to Arlington National Cemetery was a humbling experience.
The cupcakes at Georgetown Cupcakes (aka DC Cupcakes) were sweet.
And so was meeting Lolli of Better in Bulk.
She’s just as sweet in person as she appears to be online. I can’t wait to hang out with her again!
My apologies to Rohan of 365 Things to Do in Washington DC. I forgot to take a photo with him during our brief meet up. Oh well, there’s always next time!
……………………….
Thank you so much for stopping by and linking up here at Live and Love Out Loud. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. I’m linking up with Liz‘s iPhone Photo Phun this week and would like to invite you to do the same if you’re sharing photos from your smart phone this week.
As always, if you’re looking for even more folks to link up with, I’d love for you to visit a few of my friends…

Kristi, the first shot is really breath taking! Beautiful pictures! I´m glad you had a wonderful time. I´m a bit shocked though. I just read about your doctors appointment. I really hope you are okay! My thoughts and prayers are with you!
