White {Shades of Autumn Photo Challenge}

Capturing worthy images to share with you during White Week in the Shades of Autumn Photo Challenge proved to be difficult.

I found a gorgeous white horse to photograph along the back roads of Missouri, but I was unhappy with the shots I took of her.

I found a few wildflowers, but the images I captured were nowhere near exciting.

Even my attempt at creating an out-of-focus, ethereal-like image failed.

So I went indoors for a little bit of inspiration and pulled out one of my photography books. Boring…

I found my little girl’s sweet handmade block from Tiny Giraffe Shop. Cute, but not inspiring.

So I headed to the bathroom and photographed these. A jar full of cotton swabs.

And then it hit me. I have a white wedding dress that has fabulous detail along the front. I pulled her out and snapped away.

Five minutes later, I worked up the nerve to try my wedding dress on. And lo and behold…I’ve finally lost the pesky “baby weight” I’ve been holding on to for the last two years.

My wedding dress fit like a glove and I felt incredible.

My photos may be less than stellar this week, but I’m over-the-moon excited about fitting into my wedding dress once more.

Your wedding dress is beautiful!!! I keep meaning to try and shed that baby weight… but suddenly my baby is nearly five years old, so I guess it’s just inexcusable weight. Hmmmm, I feel a pre-new year resolution coming up!!! I love the horse, absolutely stunning.

I can imagine how exciting that would be!!!!! I wish I could say that mine would fit- but I am SURE I am at least 10 lbs heavier than I was then & I was post 1st baby at the time. Sigh!!! Maybe some spanx would do the trick Hmmmm- maybe I don’t want to depress myself so close to the time when we will have an overabundance of treats around here. I might be pushed over the edge.
