We recently purchased twenty-five pounds of peaches from a nearby family farm.

Twenty-five pounds of gorgeous, fragrant, fuzzy-skinned peaches.

I smelled each peach as I carefully placed them into my refrigerator fruit drawer.

Sniff. Put away.

Sniff. Put away.

Sniff. Put away.

Ten sniffs later, reality set in.

Somehow, our family would need to consume twenty-five pounds of peaches in one-week’s time.

Twenty-five.pounds.of.fresh.from.the.farm.peaches.

It’s a good thing that I’ve got some amazing bloggy friends who were kind enough to answer my call for peach recipes or I’d be stuck with a bunch of rotten fruit.

I received more recipes than I know what to do with over the last five days between my blog and Facebook fan page. And though I’ve yet to try the decadent peach ice cream recipe that Rebecca (Bumbles & Light) shared with me, I have tried a few other treats.

Like grilled peaches sprinkled with brown sugar.

Or grilled peaches slathered with Nutella. Talk about yummy!

But this?

This is the stuff they serve in heaven. Really.

I call it Macadamia Peach Crisp.

Fresh peaches. Macadamia nuts. Butter. Brown Sugar.

Baked up, served warm with vanilla ice cream on top. Yum!

Speaking of ice cream…

Who can resist an ice cream cone on a warm summer day?

Not this little cutie!

Uh-oh! Her ice cream is melting.

No one likes a drippy ice cream cone.

I scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream.

And peaches. We can’t forget the peaches!
