Macadamia Peach Crisp
Macadamia nuts. Fresh peaches. Brown sugar. Butter.

One bite of my Heavenly Macadamia Peach Crisp and you’ll swear that you’ve died and gone to heaven.
Ingredients:
- 5 peaches
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, sliced into 16 pieces
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Peel peaches and slice into bite-size pieces. Combine peaches with sugar, and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Simmer on low for 5 minutes.
Pour peaches and liquid into 9 x 13 baking dish and layer the following ingredients in order. Do not mix!
- yellow cake mix
- butter
- brown sugar
- cinnamon
- macadamia nuts
Bake for approximately 35-45 minutes.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
