Wordless Wednesday: It's a Huge Metropolis! - Live and Love...Out Loud

Wordless Wednesday: It’s a Huge Metropolis!

You’ve heard about our recent move from Georgia to Missouri.

You’ve listened to me whine and complain about living in a hotel for three weeks with four kids and a pup while we searched feverishly for a place to live.

You’ve seen our new home.

But I’ve yet to reveal the name of the town we moved to here in Missouri.

Today’s your lucky day, folks. Brace yourself, it’s a huge metropolis of a city…

plato missouri, village of plato, life in a small town, wordless wednesday

No, you’re not seeing things. The sign really says that Plato has a population of 74 people. Laugh with me…

They’d need to change that to 80 now that you guys have moved there. :)

AmberTwitter: AmberStrocel (3 comments)

This was totally going to be my joke. Did they have to replace the sign when you rolled in?

There are stores, etc. about 30 minutes away so it’s not that far out from shopping. The only thing is it’s a lot of driving along back roads. Lots of twists and turns but the view is amazing! Thanks for stopping by Sherry! Have a great day.

It Feels Like Chaos (6 comments)

That’s awesome! So how long do you think it will take them to add your family to the population and change the sign?

I’m thinking it’ll be a couple of years before they revise the sign. Maybe I can take a Sharpie marker to it! lol Thanks for stopping by. Have a fabulous day. :)

KristiTwitter: TweetingMama (4351 comments)

Haha! There are lots of families that are related here, but nothing like cousins who married. lol My kids love it here. They are really happy at their school and in our neighborhood. They say that everyone at school has been extremely friendly and that the teachers are more than happy to help. Whereas the larger school they attended last year, the teachers were too busy with all the other kids to help everyone out. Over all, we’re happy. Thanks for stopping by Verena.
