Mini Taco Bowls (Do-It-Yourself Bar)
These Mini Taco Bowls are a big hit in our home. They’re quick, easy and a lot of fun to make. Set out the toppings and let your little chefs get to work, creating their own Mini Taco Bowl masterpieces. Have fun and enjoy…
Ingredients:
- 20 small flour tortillas (fajita size)
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 packets taco seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup salsa, divided (remaining salsa to be used as topping)
Toppings:
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 10-14 lettuce leaves, chopped
- 2 large tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1/2 sour cream
- remaining salsa
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Microwave each tortilla for 10 seconds, then press into each muffin cup to form a bowl. Bake for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, brown meat in large skillet on medium heat; drain. Stir in taco seasoning, water and 1/2 cup salsa; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Complete your Mini Taco Bowl Do-It-Yourself Bar by serving meat mixture and toppings in separate bowls. Allow everyone to create their own unique Mini Taco Bowl creations. (My favorite combination: meat, lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing. Yum!)
Eat. Enjoy. Thank me later.
