I can’t believe I’m sharing this with you, but here goes.

Folks, I’m a lazy woman. I hang out in my pajamas all day. I shave my legs once every two weeks and I really don’t style my hair or put on makeup unless I’m going out.

With that said, on Sunday I painstakingly went out of my way to pretty things up. I shaved my legs. I styled my hair. I wore makeup. I even painted my stinkin’ toenails. Truth be told, I looked great! Even the kids thought so.

As I emerged from the bathroom in full regala, my three older children were quick to compliment me. Let me tell you, nothing is sweeter. Except maybe receiving a compliment or two from the hubby.

I waited.

Nothing.

I tried to solicit a response by stating the obvious, that I had just prettified myself up for him.

He looked at me. Took it all in. Still nothing.

I took it a step further and posted this lovely gem on Facebook. Because I can.

He saw it and laughed.

OH NO HE DIDN’T! (Oh yes girl, he did.)

And to think…I shaved my legs for him!
